Our number one goal has always been to offer exceptional patient care in an advanced and safe environment.  We are pleased to have a state of the art outpatient surgical facility.  Our surgery center is modeled after a hospital environment.  We have the same type of sterilization, equipment, instruments, anesthesia machines, emergency devices and surgical standards as do the local hospitals.

Dr Gerard Cappiello is board certified and is licensed by the State of Florida to perform general and vaginal cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, IV sedation and tumescent anesthesia.  For larger cosmetic cases we have a staff of physician anesthesiologists who are experts in ambulatory outpatient anesthesia.  Our doctors and nurses are also certified in advanced cardiac life support.

Types of Anesthesia

Numerous types of anesthesia are used for various cosmetic surgery procedures.  Some surgeries can be performed with local anesthesia or tumescent anesthesia and others are performed with conscious sedation where there is no need for hospital type general anesthesia.

Many offices perform surgery with anesthesia but do not have anesthesia machines, vital emergency medications, back up power sources and trained staff.  If you are considering having cosmetic facial surgery in an office surgery center environment, there are important questions to ask. We are proud to offer our patients the latest advances in patient safety and monitoring.  We maintain the same type of emergency equipment and medication as the hospital or other hospital affiliated surgical centers.  All of our staff is certified in basic life support and Dr Cappiello is certified in advance life support as are all of the anesthesia staff.  Our Office Surgery Center is state of the art.
