Almost any unsightly vascular skin condition and redness of the skin can be cured with a combination of Sclerotherapy and/or lasers.

Sclerotherapy is designed to remove spider veins larger than 2 mm and will leave your legs looking great and vein-free.

Sclerotherapy works by injecting a sclerosing agent into the small problem veins. This forces the vein to close and redirects the blood supply they carried to larger, deeper veins.

There is no anesthesia required for Sclerotherapy and treatments last only 15-45 minutes depending on the needs of each patient. After treatment, patients will need to wear bandages and compression stockings in order to prevent the veins from re-opening. More complex cases may need multiple treatments to completely solve the problem.

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should wait to have Sclerotherapy as pregnancy can often cause problems with veins.

Spider veins are small red, blue or purple veins that lie close to the surface of the skin. Spider veins and any other unsightly vascular skin conditions can be treated with the LightPod Neo Laser. This is the most powerful laser on the market yet the laser is painless.

The LightPod Neo causes blood vessels to absorb the energy of the laser. As a result, they coagulate and collapse. Patients may experience minor discomfort or a burning sensation in and around the treated site of the vein. This typically lasts for only a few hours after treatment.

Both the Sclerotherapy and laser treatments can be permanent but new problem veins can still appear. Your condition should be monitored and additional treatments administered should the need arise in order to achieve the desired results.
